Supporting his young family as an engineer, he honed his skills as a sculptor and painter in his spare time. His passion was always his art, which ultimately led to the start of his own company. Jim has painted in a variety of media including watercolor and egg tempera, a technique made popular by artists Andrew Wyeth and Bob Timberlake. Jim has also perfected his technique in silver and gold-smithing, wood carving, stained glass, furniture making and sculpting in stone. But, it's his recollection of nostalgic childhood memories and his deep appreciation of handcrafted quilt patterns and textures that inspires Jim's works-of-art.
